"Pottaru Mya" is a Daruma cat that appears in Happy with a cat, transformed into "Koropokkuru," a small fairy that appears in the folklore of the Ainu, the indigenous people of Hokkaido.
The Koropokkuru, the model for the characters, are small people who live under butterbur plants and are still deeply rooted in the Hokkaido region as a legend.
